These new Engines are a result of grants from the Department of Homeland Security. These grants are not handed out without a lot of in-depth study of prospective departments. We are proud to live and serve in a community that is so highly thought of.

Thanks to Jared Dawson for his tireless efforts in getting these grants approved. Literally hundreds of e-mails, letters and phone calls were necessary to push this grant through. As with all Federal grants each Fire Department must provide a percentage of the total cost of the Grant, so your continued support is greatly appreciated.
